I am packing boxes all day long, and driving them to the new house. We should be living in it by Dec 6th. So I don't get to post as often as I like, but I read you guys (in bed, exhausted, before falling asleep at 9pm....).

Yay!!! You are going to before Christmas! I still remember how exhausted I was 10 years ago when packing up my house for a move. Since it was a 4 hour drive to the new place (and enough stuff to fill the largest moving company truck), I hired them to load, deliver, and unload for me. Then, all I had to do was unpack and put it away. Which seemed to take months, if I remember.

Don't become too exhausted and remember to take good care of yourself.

I love paying for packers and movers. It is soooo much more civilized. My husband on the other hand is cheap and thinks that we should do all our own packing and moving. (sigh)

So today I decided to try something new. After making two cups of strong coffee and put the coffee in my blender with some chocolate syrup and ice. I was trying for what used to be my favorite beverage at my once-per-day coffee shop (Coffee Romance) when I used to live in Portland. Sad to say my concoction was nothing like what was served at that shop, there must have been some other secret ingredient that produced such a thick frothy drink. Anyway not exactly a cold weather beverage for the morning, but for the next couple of days it seems we will have early fall weather here. It's a shame that there are now coffee shops here, the choice out is at the local cafes is caffeinated or decaffeinated with sugar or non-dairy creamer.

They called me today and I have an interview tomorrow! I have to do a couple of tests, but in the add they said experience isn't required for this function so they can't be too strict

I did a compromise. I packed everything myself, hired the company to load it, drive it there, and unload it. Then I unpacked everything myself. It was so worth it, although it would have been even better having it all done by someone else.
