It's not working. All books uploaded through Calibre are giving me the error message "This item cannot be opened because it is licensed to a different user. Delete the item and download it from your Archived Items or purchase a copy from the Kindle Store."

They forced me to go to a 3rd Generation Kindle because the 2nd Generations are no longer available. I do not like it. Their tech support is saying that 2nd Generation books should open properly on a 3rd Generation Kindle...so why am I having this problem?? :-<

You new Kindle is NOT registered to the same account as the old one.

Yes, it is...they had me go through and reset to factory default, then start the whole thing all over again. Books auto-downloading directly from Amazon are opening...books I'm uploading from Calibre are not.

It seems that the problem was with Calibre after all. I had to delete out the entire listing I'd made, and redo it from scratch. Once I did...everything uploaded perfectly, and everything opens just as it should. I don't know what caused the bug...but now it's all 100% perfect.
