Once you fix what I reported above, with the preserve aspect ratio option set, there should be extra white space above and below the standby image on my 950. Personally I would prefer not to have my standby image only partially cover the screen.

No worries, I will still add the option to enable/disable keeping the aspect ratio

Please name it "stretch mode" or something like that, important is that values are not simply "enabled disabled", but e.g. "fit height", so that if we decide to add another mode ("fit width", "touch from inside" or whatever) it would be just another option value.

Great idea. If I was a fan of preserving the aspect ratio its current setup is what I would prefer - Fit standby image to fill height, aspect ratio preserved, but I think others might prefer Fit standby image to fill width, aspect ratio preserved.

Of course my preference is aspect ratio be damned, Fit standby image to fill screen.

dwanthny, do not forget that we are rather limited in number of letters per option...

Sure, I'll make it into a general scaling option.

Walt:
I just checked the relevant code, and the bug you mentioned is indeed already fixed. I'll add the fix to 2.0.15, so it'll be in the final release.

Bug?

I've to admit I have a custom build (made after rc 2.0.15).

Maybe there is a bug in deleting books from authors list:

Select one book from an author (with just having one book of this author on the reader)
Delete this book --> error message "faulty ? page" (ungültige Seite).

Its hard to get out of the state with the message (takes several attempts with pushing buttons)

Anyway: Thanks for the release!

Edit:
Tried once more: other behavior:
Select one book from an author (having more books than one) with the authors list
Open in
Try to delete it --> message: unable to delete book --> going back to authors list --> try to open author once more --> error: no books available, just changing the icon --> reader crashes while try a reboot

A.

Does this happen when you delete a book from the author list, or when you open the book from the author list, and then delete it (from inside the book)?

Somebody reported deleted book not disappearing from the front page, but I couldn't reproduce it.

Which mode do you use? (last loaded, last opened, etc)

Sorry, I can't remember for sure. That's why I didn't mention it before. Normally I use "last opened"...

But the bug with "ungültige Seite" (german; "faulty page (?)") is reproducible on my 350.

Does this option work in Calibre too?

thanks

Thanks for reporting the issue; I'll look into it.

VICTORSJG:
Most definitely. I would recommend using a custom column in Calibre to automatically create such collections from your series (I do).
