Seconded! I'm particular fond of anything non-human, and yet...biological, though I'm not averse to the bizarre, so if the "bio" extends into the realms of plasmatic or ectoplasmatic, so be it. If it has a mouth big enough to hold a whole squirrel, I'll be even more blushingly enamoured.

Daaaaarn it! I just was away all a whole day and I see something like a mess around an avatar....plus 3 pages of replies to read! WHOA!... I can only say nekokami's artist since she made a really nice avatar...
i'm still on inspiration-searching then I'll make one too... but for now I'm like at the bus-stop waiting inspiration's arrival... :-D
Or maybe I should go somewhere and search it by myself?...

i've noticed that bus never runs on time. oh, and be sure to verify the number before you get on board ; there are several which stop there but none of the other ones goes to the right place.

I remember back in high school I would catch the number 8 bus and if I wasn't looking too closely I would get on one that didn't go to the end of the line (where I lived) but turned around at Paradise Station.

Right. Here's an early draft of the promised avatar for Marc....

Still to be added: a squirrel twitching from the mouth, and (somewhere) a monkey mask.

We've got six hands to work with. What do you want them to be doing? (And let's remember, please, that this is a family-friendly forum-- though not a kidney-friendly one.

I think he should be juggling PlanetHeads. In other news, I saw a billboard today and wished I had a camera handy. "Save A Squirrel... change your shocks every 50,000 miles". I have to get a snap of it before I leave town.

maybe he could juggle one planethead and 4 or 5 other avatars (follow my eyes...). that would be hilarious.

billboards like that are the reason that i finally got a telephone with a camera in it (in fact the new one i got has 5mo resolution ; the actual digital camera which only takes photos which i bought several years ago and is about 4 times the size of the phone is 2mo resolution. i never carry that camera anymore, for obvious reasons). you should get one too. seriously, a gadget freak like yourself, i can't beleive you don't already have one.

Corporate blackberry... does everything EXCEPT take pictures, and I won't have a second phone just to have a camera. Which leaves me, basically, without a camera. I have two nice digital cameras, but don't usually have them with me.

really ?? they don't let you choose your own phone ??? how annoying. i would hate that. maybe you could go make eyes at the person who *is* in charge, and get them to make a different (photo enabled) decision.
