Yes, that is standard Android behaviour. I guess it would be hard to figure out where to stop if the Vox manual also functioned as an introduction to Android one, as well. I decided to keep the Vox manual in Calibre, so if I had a questions, I could read it in the Calibre viewer while having the Vox in front of me. Same could be accomplished by using it with the Kobo desktop app.

I've had my Kobo Vox for a few days, and I sure am glad I found this forum! but I cannot find a posting that tells me how to enable cookies, and I have looked everywhere! I hope someone can explain this to me. tia!

If you are using the standard browser that comes with the Vox this should do it.

1) Open the browser
2) Click the middle menu button on the Vox (the one with four lines)
3) Choose the "More" option
4) Choose "Settings"
5) Scroll a bit down and and find the Privacy settings "area"
6) Check the box next to "Accept Cookies"

I have a phone app on my iPod Touch - Line2 - that lets me use it as a VOIP - voice over internet phone. The iPod has no microphone either but there's one on my earphones. It's way cheaper than paying fees for an iPhone.

Quite possibly Line 2 or another VOIP app would work on the Vox too.

No bluetooth required, only wifi, but I'm not sure the microphone part will work on the Vox. I'll try it out a little later and let you know...

I've tried Fring and several versions of Skype. Sound works in the earphones but the microphone doesn't work...Anyone have an idea why?

Ahhh. See when you hover over the Edit button a tooltip pops up stating Edit/Delete Message. So I go to Edit and I can't see anywhere to delete the posting.

The Vox doesn't have any sort of audio input.
