Everyone loves the book. So, I am very curious about it. Also, it is relatively a short one, just a mere 450 pages on my reader vs. the usual minimum of 850.

I'm still in the middle of The Secret Magdalene by Ki Longfellow. It's not captivating enough to keep me reading, but I am enjoying it, so I'm not willing to simply set it aside. I did, however, read 5 books over the weekend -- only one of them on my Kindle. I purchased Reader and Raelynx by Sharon Shine for my Kindle and read it on Friday evening and Saturday. It's the fourth book in a very enjoyable fantasy series -- unfortunately, the first three books are not out in Kindle format. I hope this is an oversight that will soon be corrected since I'd like to get those for a future re-read. I read two romantic suspense (mysterious romances?) on Saturday and Sunday, then finished up the weekend by reading two steamy romance novels on Sunday.

I'm starting on reading a couple of Cozy Mysteries ... Murder Between the Covers (Dead-end Jobs #2) by Elaine Viets and The Sporting Club (Trade Ellis Mysteries #2) by Sinclair Browning.

Just took out Woe is I by Patricia T. O'Connor. I figured I've been out of school for quite a number of years and wanted to refresh my Engrish.

I wanted a little light reading after the stuff I've been slugging through in graduate school, so I went with a re-read of Mercedes Lackey's Exile's Honor. I think I'll reread some Katherine Kurtz next.

I liked Lord of Light quite a bit, but I think it's not to everyone's taste. Have you read Doorways in the Sand? I think that's my favorite book of Zelazny's.

I expect to finally finish Lord of the Isles tonight, then on to Mistborn.

I liked LoI better than I expected to, because it has lots of action and kept me coming back to see what happened next. Only bad thing: It jumped the shark at about page 300, so I pretty much figured out the conclusion. (Unless it's a cliffhanger or something)

Just finished 'Rabbit, Run' by John Updike. A bit patchy, but the good bits were very good. Will probably read the other Rabbit books sometime, but not just yet.

Just started 'Brood of the Witch Queen' by Sax Rohmer - wanted something frivolous since 'R, R' was a rather sombre read.

Just started "Worldfarm One" by Steve Jordan.
12 pages in he completely zonks me by bashing the States. I'm used to if by being a foreigner but from a (still living) US citizen? That's some balls you got Steve.
