I finished The Final Winter. It was ok. Not as good as I expected.

I will probably be starting Sparrow Rock with a glass of homebrew vino later.

I just finished the Nov/Dec 2011 issue of Philosophy Now, which was mostly about philosophy of mind, but also contained an interesting look at our fascination with violence and sensationalism in the news (“Moral Pornography” by Joel Marks) and a wonderful short work of fiction (“Christmas Party Philosophy” by Tim Wilkinson). An excellent issue.

Just started _Eye of the Needle_ by Ken Follett.

I also have _The Help_ on my new K-Touch from the library queued up for after that one.

I'll get WWW: Wonder when it drops under $10.

Whether I eventually finish this book or not, Eye of the Wizard by Daniel Arenson will be next on the list.

I am reading The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern right now. Interesting so far but I've only been reading a few pages at a time because of time constraints. I'm curious to see where it goes.

i wholeheartedly support his use of the real title. i'm of the mind that political correctness has no place in literature nor public discourse.

We'll have to agree to disagree. Where something is wholly offensive to many people, things should and do get changed over time as sensibilities change.
