Pocket Edge now $49.99 on eBay

I paid almost $200 a piece for two PEs a little over 6 months ago. Even at $200 I think the PE is a great little device. For $50 it is an absolute steal.

Maybe not overseas, but in the U.S. they are routinely selling now for under $100. I'm not sure why there is such a price discrepancy.

paid USD130 and USD140 for mines.
I would buy to more if under USD60 for parts. really the battery and screen is worth more. and difficult to get them here in uk.

The cheapest I see at that link is $100 plus shipping. The $49.95 device is an ipod remote thingy...

Why are these at Wal*Mart selling with Android 2.1? I thought the PE stopped with 1.6.

From the comments Walmart is selling a regular PE with Dingo. Don't know why they say Android 2.1. They should include a link to this forum with each unit sold!

Amen to that! As ignorant as I am to the Android system, I would think there are many peeps with far less ability than myself when it comes to tinkering with PE.

If not for this site and the knowledgable and helpful people on it, I would have given up on the PE many moons ago. Thanks for all your help guys.

I wonder why the new ones are listed at $49 and the used and refurbs are more...........? Does this make any sense?

It's a database error on their part. If you click on that link it shows a list of all the "edge" products and how much they are selling for.

The top "edge" on the list is $49.99 but it isn't an edge at all.. it's an adapter for an iPod that turns it into a remote control.
