I finished Dixie Divas (Dixie Divas #1) by Virginia Brown, very late/early last night/this morning. This was my first Amazon Prime Library selection.
The main characters were a lot of fun, and the mystery was interesting, but the resolution was odd and a bit unsatisfactory. That will not stop me, however, from reading book two, eventually. I gave Dixie Divas a 3.5.

Next up is Eye of the Wizard by Daniel Arenson.

You're really whooshing though your books. Do you love them all, or are there any stinkers in the books you've read recently?

Hi cassiexiexie and welcome to MobileRead. Bad news about The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo: The other two books in the series are as good or better and you won't be able to stop reading them!

Hi,

I'm reading Dead Beautiful by Yvonne Woon, a paranormal young adult book set in the creepy Gottried Academy where they study Latin, the language of the dead

Just finished reading The Innocence of Father Brown by G. K. Chesterton, a wonderful collection of whodunnit short stories first published in 1911 in which the good guys are all Christians and the villains are all atheists like me. Very entertaining and much recommended, especially for those who wish to see us unbelievers get our comeuppance.

You might also like "The Little World of Don Camillo" by Giovannino Guareschi.

I looked at the write-up in Wikipedia, and that series does indeed look interesting. Thanks!

I loved every single one of the Don Camillo books, which I read many moons ago, and keep meaning to go back and try them again.
