I begin with an E, I end with an E , I only contain one letter, but I am not the letter E. What am I?

Contain could be interpreted that there is only a single letter within the two E's.

Thanks. I was a bit worried it would be given to Poohbear. You know, like when I got 4 out of 5 of the Nobel Prize countries, but Poohbear got declared the winner for guessing the last one. It's OK, I'm not bitter

I'm with the snake... Hard questions all day and no idea of the answers, then I go to sleep and there are a whole bunch of easy questions while I sleep. Then I wake up again and find an impossible one again. Arrrrgggg!
