Mines didn't ship yesterday so Amazon refunded me my overnight shipping fee. Suppose to be delivered on the 16th. We'll see, I ordered on 9/28.

Mine is out for delivery at 6:52 AM on a UPS truck today. I sometimes get an early delivery at 11:00 AM but usually it comes on the late delivery at 6:00 PM.

My original estimated delivery date was for Nov 17 with Amazon Prime. This delivery is coming 2 days early from the original estimate. All my other deliveries came next day instead of 2 days. This one is coming same day instead of 2 days.

When you receive it, first thing is to charge it for four hours. Then upgrade to version 6.1 available here:

Those who paid extra for next day delivery really wasted their money. The Amazon Prime Standard Two Day delivery ended up as a same day delivery from the release date of Nov 15 which is today.

A lot of you should be getting them today man I saw at least 40+ come down within like an hour.. they outnumbered the touch.. Looking to hear from people here that received it because i'm thinking about maybe getting one in the new year.

I wished Amazon did not have kindle fire or Kindle Touch on the side of the box.. at least the other Kindles still come in the box without much to stand out on it.

I saw the Amazon KFire commercial last night where they left a KFire in its big, obviously a KFire box on the front step of a home in an innercity location. The ad said something about good things being left at your door. I was thinking that a package like that would not stay put for long!

I saw that commercial and thought the same thing.

When driving through a small town a few years back the farmer had a stand set up with corn and a cash box on the table. A sign directed you the price and to put the money in the cash box. My husband and I said if that was in the city, the corn, cash box, and table would all be gone.

You know someone here did a honor system.. I think it was for the bike riders it was lemonaid a stand and they said something like leave cash or whatever it was cute.. too bad it was in the area where I could not stop, I used to love reading what they wrote on the chalkboard each day. It seemed to went over well.. they finally took it down since it's getting colder out.. but yeah if that was city the money would be gone quick!
