Yes, Amazon generally ends up shipping early. It's a good thing to keep in mind. However, it's usually only about two days...a week early is unusual.

Actually it would of been more like two weeks early my ship date was Nov 29 - Dec 08. Had I got the touch I would of loaded my card on the 19th.

My guess the reason for the change has to do with Black Friday.

I ordered mine during Bezos' announcement on 9/28 & just got my email saying it would arrive on Wed Nov 16. Email came this morning (Mon 11/14) at 9:33am CST. As the OP wrote, W00T!

[EDIT: It's my Kindle *FIRE* that is due on Wed. W00PS for posted in this thread about the Touch, but W00T again for getting my Fire earlier than expected!]

Amazon posted on facebook that they are starting to ship out the Touches a week early, so everyone should start seeing their orders being shipped. I am so excited I will be getting mine early, YAY!!

Just in time for me to start book 13 of the Wheel of Time.


UPS is notorious in my area for delivering late though so I don't expect it until around 7pm or so...that helps stifle the urge to leave work a little early, haha.
