When I bought my Sony Reader from the US, I was charged import duty as well as VAT. Probably depends who "processes" the package what "category" it gets processed under.

Probably too late for you to go back and complain?

For the sake of £15 or so, it's not worth it. My time is worth more to me than the time it would take to complain about it .

Cybook Gen3 back in stock.

Just looked at their web page.
it says.....From this date average delay between order and shipment is 12 business days. In all cases orders will be dispatched on first come first served basis. They also say with their new batch they have introduced some hardware and software improvements. These elements will be explained and developed in a future post.

Hmm... I'm still waiting to see when my order will be processed. Has anyone gotten any kind of shipping confirmation from them yet? WHen do they send that? A day before they ship? Earlier than that? *is impatient*

I'm confused as to why their blog says first shipment goes out in 14 business days, when their buy page says 12. Technically the people who ordered before it was in stock should be sent out first, right? That's... confusing. I mean, sure it's only 2 days, but, I'm tired of waiting.

Thanks, Harry. I'm counting down the days until I receive notification.

Until then I'll just have to amuse myself on the forums.

Oh, good.
Now I hope they get around to sending NAEB's shipment soon, So I can get my hand on my order.
I really want to get it soon so that I have time to get used to it , as I have exams coming up in the first couple of weeks of june, and I'm flying out right after that.
well, waiting with my fingers crossed.

Oh very much so. Of course, I'm amused easily, so that could have something to do with it. Besides, even when you guys aren't being amusing, you are being informative. So it's win/win for me.

Nothing is ever free.

Hmm, with NAEB's order being delayed, and my upcoming flight, I might have to bite the bullet and place a order direct with bookeen.

They are saying that they have it currently in stock and that it takes an average of 12 business days to ship.

Does anyone who has just ordered it recently, know what the actual time to dispatch usually is?

Cos, I really want a reader with me when I travel on the 15th , so if bookeen can get it to me in time, I may have to pay the premium and get it from them.
