It's a fair cop guv ....... I confess. I've given in. I've found we now have Best Buy UK, and have bought a "clearance" brand-new 350 for £99. As I was hovering around risking an ebay job, I feel moderately content... Now for a Sony cover with light.... ( Sony must have some stashed away somewhere in the world .... ) |

Well if you really like the reader and seeing as how there wont be any more 5" readers from sony,(at least thats what is believe)get another. It couldnt hurt at this price. If the batteries die there are plenty of tutorials out there that show how to replace. If you change your mind you should have no problem getting back what you paid for it on ebay.

Mine is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Excited to put PRS+ on it and maybe load Lexia DaMa font. I'm a big fan of Caecilia on the Kindle..

Otherwise the unit looks 100% new. Not a mark on it. Last edited by Tony1988; 11-03-2011 at 04:22 PM.

I'm jealous. I want mine today! But it's nowhere near my city. How are you guys liking it so far? Is the portability worth the loss in screen size?

I havent used it yet. But I love the size. Its more reminiscent of a paperback than the 650Well actually smaller. The 650 is probably closer to paperback size.LOL

The 350 is a dream - my son nicked mine, hence my quest ! It is such a one-off, and people want it, I will never understand why they cut it, really. And, vxf, you're right, totally sensible marketing strategy, make something recognized as a design classic and greatly sought-after, and can it. Then knock out stocks at a give-away price, and say it didn't make money. Brilliant. Couldn't send me a cover could you !!, could you !! |

I just got mine and love it. Other than the official cover, are there any good ones out there?

So tempted!!!!!!!!! I have a T1 and Kindle 4, and already designated the Kindle 4 as back up and my toss around reader. I'm fairly certain my wife would kill me, but... |
