Let's see if I can draw something - probably won't look good with proportional fonts. Dots had to be used instead of spaces.

Wow that looks great! That would be nice since you can change the page with either hand. I just got my KT back a few days ago and tried out the new layouts and this one seems much better than the current ones.

Probably worth noting that swiping still works no matter how you configure the tap zones. So just so long as they keep the RTL swipe for page back and LTR swipe for page forward, extra options would be great.

One of the features that made me chose Kobo from other ereaders were the dictionaries. My library is full of books in different languages and this really help to reduce the time it take to read and understand them.
However, dictionary lookup now is working depending on the language of the interface. I would like to ask if this can be done by the language of the book instead. Now, when I'm reading a french or spanish book, the first transtlate dictionary opened is always english, and then I have to change it to the correct language. I would be very usefull to open the book language dictionary.

I've only had the KT for about a week. I don't care about the social stuff. I just want to be able to login to a university wifi (students require enterprise wifi authentication), can't download ebooks from Kobo using my home wifi (works fine on kindle keyboard and ipad). I have to login to kobobooks.com web site to select books. I do a wifi sync and although the free books download I get an error message. Until the error message goes away I'm not going to buy any books. Browser hyperlinks do not work most of the time. Even trying to rename a bookmark is frustrating.

Folders or Collections would be nice some day. I want to support Kobo and I do have a vox on order but I feel like I am beta testing software. After reading some of the forum postings I think the firmware needs to fix existing problems instead of adding features. Form follows function. Less gingerbread, more meat and potatoes.

I would love to be able to sort collections of books into folders so I can easily find the next in a series. Even if the physical folders on the root of the drive could be browsed as folders it would make this much easier.

I second that. It would be easier to manage!

My workplace recently changed the protection on the wireless hub to 128-bit WEP.. Which it appears is not supported by the Kobo Touch.. Please add support. Thanks.

I'm not sure if I am the only one who suggested recently that Kobo figures out a way to synch bookmarks or last read page in an ebook across all Kobo apps, devices and browsers that a customer may be using to read. Hopefully the developers are seriously considering this idea or with luck it is already a work in progress.

It seems other people thought highly of the same idea and have already rolled out the feature. It's not too late Kobo to play a bit of catch up.

"One of the best things about the Kindle ecosystem is that you can read your books anywhere. Start reading on a Kindle at night, pick it up on your Nexus One on your way into work, polish off the chapter over your lunchbreak in your Web browser, browse a little bit during the three o'clock food coma on the Kindle app, and then dive in on your iPad during the commute home. No matter which device you fire up, the content stays synced, letting you jump into the book exactly where you last left off.

Amazon has worked really, really hard on this ability to let a book follow you everywhere. That was smart. It's one of Kindle's best features. It was what helped Kindle break out when previous e-book formats and readers had not. It's a promise by Amazon that this won't be a DRM nightmare that locks you into one device. Yes, there will be copy protection, but it's going to be reasonable and readable.

Isn't this being done already with last page read?

All nice and well with the assumption that you will ALWAYS be connected to the Internet.. Maybe it's just me but when I'm on a mobile device I usually turn my Wifi off unless I need to use it so I can conserve battery power. Would be kind of a hassle to turn it on/off each time I open/close a book.. But I guess knowing it is possible is good. :P

It would be great if the Kobo can keep a history of words looked up in the Dictionary. For example, a list of recently searched words in the main Dictionary screen.

I'm trying to build my vocabulary, but since I read while commuting I can't keep track of all the new words I run across. By the end of the day I've forgotten some of the new words, and it's difficult going back through tens of pages to pick them out again. This is probably a pretty specific feature, but it would be really nice to have and hopefully wouldn't be too difficult to implement

Yeah, I was wishing it stored the dictionary searches the other day. In my case though, it was because I had run across a definition that didn't make sense and may have been broken but when I went back a few days later I couldn't remember what the word was. . .

The one complain I have right now is that you can't set the Kobo up through WiFi.

The only feature I really want now is some sort of Categorization. Like folders or something.

What about adding a feature like the latest Sony touch enabled eReaders, when tapping a word allow not only a Dictionary or Translate search, but a (mobile) Wikipedia lookup or even a Google search.
