Preference: Paragraph indent or a little paragraph spacing?

When reading an ebook, which do you prefer... 1.) An average paragraph indent with no line spacing between paragraphs. or 2.) No paragraph indent and a little line spacing between paragraphs. On my device I notice that individual apps handle this differently, even with the same ebook. I believe I prefer no paragraph indent with a little line spacing between paragraphs. Do you have a preference? I'm curious as I sometimes create/convert ebooks for others... |

Indents. That way I never have to wonder whether the first line on a page is the first in a new paragraph or not.

Prefer both indent and a space, it makes it easer to leave a page and return to find my place again.

I prefer both as well. The indent identifies a new paragraph much better, but no space makes me feel like the book is too cluttered.

I like both. But, if I had to pick just one, I'd probably have to go with the extra spacing.

If I'm doing a book myself, I prefer a normal paragraph indent and a very small (2-3 pixel) extra space between paragraphs. A full-line space between paragraphs is distracting to me, but I would consider it necessary if there is no indent.

indent, no spacing, all that extra spacing takes up takes up space that could have more lines of writing on them.

An indent & no extra space between most paragraphs. One blank line between paragraphs when there is a scene break, no rule. A rule between paragraphs only when there needs to be 2 classes of scene break within a single chapter or in a short story with no chapter breaks, then space for minor breaks and rule for major.

For my old eyes, I prefer indent with half line spacing between paragraphs. It just makes the page easier to read for me.
