Seen a few of these crop up used asking more than this. Dunno why this doesn't show up on Google Shopping, but I noticed it while grabbing an 8 dollar case last night.

Free shipping and no tax for most states. US only, I suspect.

A new PRS-950 on eBay is a bit less than 400 USD...this looks incredible, *if* true. And appears to be US only...

Bah I just bought that 350 last night. I'm torn.. do I need this? If the wi-fi actually let you load books without connecting to the computer, the 950 would be a perfect device. Unfortunately, the wi-fi is limited from what I hear.. =/

I ordered one. I kind of wish I didn't get the Sony 350 for $75 (including tax) yesterday because I want the pink one! The pink one is at PC Richard & Son for $99. I'm drawn to it

This probably means no Cybook Odyssey for me. I really, really wish I could download books off of Wi-Fi (i hate having to connect on my 505), but a combination of a 350 and a 950.. well, one has to strike my fancy and be a good upgrade from the 505 for at least another year or two, until e-ink comes out with advances in screen tech.

Now if someone can find me a Red 650 (the most beautiful shade of red ever!) for $100, I can have one of each of the x50s, all bought within 24 hours. Sigh.. what was I thinking? haha.

I am still interested in that one. Even if it is a bit over $200. Its looks to be superior to the 950 in just about every way. Glad I missed out on the 950 though. I really dont need it. I have the 650 and now the 350. The 950 is a bit big for my tastes anyways.

If I like the 350 I may get rid of my 650.

Yeah I'm not sure which of the 350 or 950 I'll keep. I'll likely only keep one, unless I find having the two different sizes incredibly convenient. Like, taking the 350 with me everywhere (I read off of my iPhone currently when I'm not at home, but maybe the 350 is small/light enough to carry everywhere) whereas 950 might work well at home.

I do think the Odyssey looks good, but it's not available in the U.S. and even a release date hasn't been announced. I may end up selling or giving away the 350 and 950 and getting Odyssey (or a new e-ink Nook if one is announced and has the right features), but we'll see. For now I jumped on these deals. I hope the 950 does actually ship rather than getting cancelled. I probably bought like minutes before it was pulled.

Yes, but that's usually not an insurmountable barrier. My laptop from a few years ago (LG P310) was only available outside the U.S. I bought it from Germany and had it shipped here.
