To me the biggest advantage of the capacitive screen is the pinch and zoom and on the 7022, works well.

BTW, When I said the 7022 screen was not very "responsive" a better word would be "sensitive". Now that I'm getting used to the low sensitivity I'm beginning to consider this a plus. When I'm using my Toshiba Thrive, if my fingers stray to close to the screen anything can happen - and often does.

The more I use the 7022 the better I like it.

I was surprised to see the $175 price at Amazon. Until today it has been $168. It's an anti Blossom conspiracy is what it is and it must stop.!!!

I saw the price change but after reading about the Vox on the forum I still think 7022 is my best choice although I like the 7125 as well but it's not sold through Amazon directly.

All the ones I talk to on the phone had no accents. Kindle support has been great though I had a few misses I've learned just keep trying till you get someone who will help you.

Take a look at the 7127. I appears to be the 7022 inside a 7024 case. The 7127 has both speakers and the volume rocker. Here is the link:

Actually, it's a different case than the 7024. Mine looked more like the 7022 (though I think slightly thicker). I thought about the 7127, but I want a better resolution screen. That's my fixation right now and why I reactivated my Lenovo order (and now have an email saying 'due to overwhelming demand ... may be delays' but I still have the same Nov. 9 status as when I ordered in early October. Whatever).

Plus, I'm wary of another internal memory failure.

That's what I mean 7127 not 7125. Amazon sells it through a merchant but not directly. I don't know how that works if I needed to replace it.

The Coby Kyros 7-Inch Android 2.3 4 GB Internet Tablet with Capacitive Touchscreen - MID7127-4G only has 4 Gb of memory while the Kindle Fire has 8 Gb of memory.

Plus, as I understand it, the Kindle Fire will be ready to go with Amazon Prime with thousands of free streaming movies and access to the Amazon Cloud to supplement it's 8 Gb of memory. I already opted for Amazon Prime and cut my delivery date for the Kindle Fire to Nov. 17, 2011.

Just 16 days and I'll have it.

Finally, the Silk Browser is far more advanced than any other browser on the market for tablets, bar none, and only Kindle Fire will use it.

IMHO the Kindle Fire is far better than the Coby 7127 !

IMHO the Kindle Fire is far better than the Coby 7127 !

The KF has alot going for it but space isn't one of them. The Coby has a MicroSD Slot so you can have up to 32GB, The Fire doesn't.

It's not till then end of the month but I as said before I get my gifts early thanks to Black Friday falling right before. There's been a few times over the years I had to share it with Thanksgiving as well.
