Just finished watching Tideland. I mention this because of the squirrel. Which turned out to be one of the least disturbing parts of this film. If you are a Gilliam fan (like me) I highly recommend checking it out. But be prepared for alot more of the bizarre and less the bizarre humour you are accustomed to with Terry. And some just downright disturbing topics and scenes.

And I now have a new top ten favorite line from a film:
"Squirrel butts don't glow."

I just can't seem to get away from them. I was watching Scrubs earlier and was reminded of Janitor's Squirrel Army. So I just gave in and am posting these:

I just picked up my car from the dealer. I took it in today with the check engine light on and the "D" in the transmission lights flashing. OK, the original diagnostic showed a "P0968" Clutch Pressure Linear Solinoid failure. Additional probing found that the wires to the transmission were nibbled on by rodents -- read squirrels. So $149.25 in labor and $0.63 in parts later the car is back on the road and shifting on its own.

No help from the insurance company; but, I understand that Radio Shack has a new squirrel detector radar that will help to produce more road kill.
