Hmmm. Sounds like one that you know or you don't and trying to deduce it is probably pointless. Probably, it's something like they each ate chocolate ice cream on their seventh birthday while riding elephants at the fair or saw the same celestial event at some point in their lives. Still, they're all revolutionaries of sorts. Did they all read something or follow something in common? Perhaps met someone?

Okay, this is definitely a "chocolate ice cream eaters" or the like kinda question. I'll take a wild stab or two. Did they all have fathers who were priests? Uncles who were marijuana farmers? Aunts who were nuns in a rodeo? All of the above?

That is a damn fine answer, and certainly more interesting than the correct answer! But, unfortunately, not correct.

Aha! Each was an All Star Little League Horseshoe Tosser in the third grade? Was involved in at least three fracases (fracasi? fricasi?) when Liverpool rolled into town? Tried out for the Big Chicken mascot for their home team?

They all played a particular sport to a professional or near-professional level and they all played in the same position.

As well as the names already mentioned, I could add Arthur Conan-Doyle to the list.
