Yep they are identical. I use 5th font setting, the same fonts, the same margin 30 and medium line spacing. It was this way before I used the font plugin though.

That's weird, Blossom. I thought the firmware is pretty much the same except for the keyboard support. Would it be too much trouble for you to take screenshots of the two with the sane text?

I went back and checked and it only seems to do it on certain books on me. However I think I found a fix. It seems to have something to do with font size changes on the K4. If I go out of the book open another one then go back into the book it seems to fix it self eventually after I've read a little.

It's probably just another quirk of my K4.

I'm dealing with sinus headache but later I will take screenshots when I have a chance.

Edit: I haven't forgotten about the screenshots it's just since I restarted my Kindle it's seems to have fixed itself and now it's not doing it anymore. I'm think a bad book might of been the cause because I remove some books from it before it stop doing it.

Really I don't know. I'm just happy it's fixed!

The 50% off offer for covers arrived this morning. It is a different offer on the K3 than the K4. K3 offer includes only Amazon covers while K4 offer has no Amazon covers, only those crappy 3rd party ones all of which are designed for both the K4 non-touch and Touch. Yuk on K4 offer!!! I'm sick of all the 3rd party manufacturers being cheap and not offering a cover specifically for the non-touch model. As much as they charge they should damn well design a cover that fits it correctly without being over sized to fit the Touch.

For a well-fitting 3rd party offering, try Oberon. A bit on the pricy side, but the covers are beautiful, and if you have any problems, I've heard their customer service is fantastic. I do recall one member who said that the stitching on theirs wasn't quite right, and the resultant fit was off, but they quickly made it right.

I'm one of many satisfied Oberon customers here at MobileRead. They're not for everyone, as they are a bit heavy and thick, but that just means more protection in my book.

Among their new offerings are K4 & Fire covers, and they promise to have Kindle Touch covers in time for the holidays.

I love Oberon, I have two covers and one sleeve, but the customer service has been hit and miss. A lot of it depends on your initial tone when you talk to them. If you are even toned and not upset you get good customer service. If you are annoyed or angry because of the problem they are not all that good. They are a really small family run company that produces great products but they are not always the best with PR and handling tough situations. Some folks have had some down right awful experiences with them.

But the covers are great and they are making covers for the K4 Lite. They had said that they were not going to but the out cry over that decision was pretty large and they decided there was enough of a market to make the covers. They are expensive but they work very well and look wonderful. I think of mine as a nice leather bookcover.

Oberon covers for the K4 are exactly the same as the other 3rd party covers--they are made to fit the K4 Touch and thus are TOO big for the non-touch. Looking at their posted photo there is at least a 1/4 inch of extra material on every side of the K4 NT.

Oberon covers are nice looking, but as @WTSharpe says they are thick and heavy. They are way too expensive too.

I only got a 50% off offer for K3 covers on my K4.

I agree. I wouldn't buy a case like that.

Just did a chat with Kindle support they say they're two different offers and I just got the other one first. That I should get the K4 covers one too but I'm not holding my breath. *sigh*
