As Mark_Lenovo had said on the forum (page 3), the OS is Android certified, but Lenovo doesn't have the full Android Market, some sort of decision to support certain apps but not others.

I'm basically taking Google's word above Lenovo's, because they're not trying to sell me the device. It could be that they'll have it straightened out in a few weeks' time, but they couldn't give me proof or guarantee, just their word. :\

Ordered the Vox yesterday, savings of $56 from the Lenovo, and the review on Good EReader has me excited. :-)

It's only Android 2.0 Mantano wouldn't run on it nor half of my apps.

I will be ordering the 7022 This weekend! It my birthday gift from my mom. You see my birthday falls right after Black Friday every year so I always get my present early. I have learn if I wait till the real day I miss out because everything is sold out.

I have seen that model get the bad mouth. The higher numbered ones are better according to the reviewer.

Oh my gosh. That's really bad when you throw it away. Usually you just put it on a shelf somewhere. To be forgotten. That's my husband, refuses to throw anything away. Quite annoying. He'll actually go in the trash and remove anything of his I discarded.

Enjoy! Yeah, I'm not a fan of racing to products for Black Friday. Can't get me to stand out in the cold and I hate crowds. I scored last year with online ordering from JC Penney's for boots on Thursday and Friday. Had a few time outs on the web site from traffic, but managed to mostly get the ones I wanted. I imagine it's worse for electronics!

As for the Velocity ... you find more bad than good reviews out there. Sorry to see it get tossed, though.

Scion - sounds like my stepdad. Gross, but we had to get sneaky about throwing away his holey socks and underwear, because he'd dig them out! ::shudder::

Why not just add the Market to it? You don't need to root it at all. Just install like 4 apks then reboot and you should have market access. Just google androidtablets.net and go to their Colby Generation 2 section. I've been reading up on all the quirks and issues of the 7022. So I am all ready for my tablet!

The 7022 has a 4:3 screen as well I believe.

Thanks! I am excited about getting one finally! I do owe you thanks for letting me know Coby is a good brand when it comes to tablets.

My mom who is in a wheelchair has been injured by greedy selfish people on that day a couple years back. I tell my sister do not take her even if she wants to go one of those sales. I only do Black Friday online like Newegg has some amazing sales on that day!
