Yep, I know all those. noisome I always have to think about. It means obnoxious, especially of odours, but looks like it means a loud sound.

Interesting test. I got 26000(English as second language). If only I could remember more of them when speaking or writing English.

My passive:active vocabulary ratio probably 20:1
OK.
passive:written 10:1

but passive:spoken 50:1

I receive about two or three death announcements a month these days, about folks I grew up with, folks I went to school with, people I knew. I'm slowly but surely running out of peers... Without peers there is little peer pressure.

32,000 and odds. Mmmm. What shocked me about this test was the number of words I'd never even seen before. Hey, I don't want to sound like Big Brother or anything but I reckon we could ditch of few of those from the English language...or would that be ungood?
