Looking for a couple of books
Hi folks i need a couple of ebooks that i cant afford for school.

Internet Systems & Applications, (Second Edition) Fehl, EMC Paradigm , 2008, ISBN: 978-0-76383-193-6

and

MCTS Guide to Configuring Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Active Directory
ISBN-13: 978-1-4239-0235-5


any help on getting these would be great! I cant afford them.. so I need to find an alternative to getting them. if you have any ideas please post here or pm me!!

The website for the first book (http://www.emcp.com/college_resource...p?GroupID=7245) has downloadable chapter summaries and presentations--you could probably understand quite a bit of the content of the book just by downloading and reading these for free.

Easy there... how the heck is this asking for pirated books? I can go check this book out at the school for up to 2 hours at time.. Problem is I have 2 kids.. so if im lucky I get to go to the schools library once a week..lol

barnes and noble will let you have these books for up to a week ...for free...
and other places... so I figured that if its free some place and you can rent it at others then you might be able to find it for free some were.

p.s Im not asking you to go and photocopy these for me lol.. and i think you misunderstood what i was trying to do... maybe i was a little unclear..

i think you misunderstood what i was trying to do... maybe i was a little unclear..
Reading your post poohbear_nc's conclusion was a reasonable one. You may not have intended it to sound like you were asking for a pirated copy of the books but that is exactly how it sounded even asking folks to circumvent the forum an "PM" you.

A "little unclear?" To be more precise try totally? completely? or intentionally? unclear.

We welcome all new folks to mobileread, but starting off by being disrespectful to the moderator who is only trying to protect this forum is not a good start.

You can find much of MCTS Guide to Configuring Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Active Directory in Google books.
