Hi Paola!
I just tested and work in landscape mode, is like vertical scrolling, that on previous version do not work on landscape mode with PDFviewer. What you can not do is like moving in the same page if you zoom, like scroll right or left. Adobeviewer have that feature.

No webbrowser

Still there is no useful webbrowser for PB902. What is the problem?

Am I missing anything? Scrolling does NOT work in landscape zoom mode with pdfviewer - at least not on my 602. I just tried the 5th time. It has been like this for at least 6 months.

I actually have the same problem - but I tell you what, i also had another problem, namely that with the dictionary the keyboard that came up was the one for the X02 models. I "cleaned the state", and it started working again. I think I will re-flash the second release candidate.

EDIT: actually, no need to re-flash: in order to scroll you simply have to keep the joystick pressed a little longer (a single "click" won't do, nor would a double one, but if you press for half a second it will scroll).

There is no aurora nor midori, just link without menu/url option.

Hi everyone!
I'm trying installing this update since the improvements seem quite appealing but I'm stuck now during the installation...

I've got the 2.0.6 version installed, put the new files in the root directory. All the installation seemed to go very well, but now, I'm stuck at the page of the licence agreement. I select the language -> the licence agreement is shown, click "accept" -> and: again the page to select the language etc...

Any idea? I've deleted the /system/Explorer-2 to try but to no avail

Hi, Paola,
Did you mean long press to scroll in pdfviewer landscape zoom mode or the dictionary? I tried long press on the joystick, it always leads to the next page not the next section on the same zoomed page.

@jshzh: You should look at your Configuration of key presses to see if you might have re-assigned some of them to different meanings. It would explain why some actions don't work for you but work for others.

well, unless the version for X02 models is different, you should see a "Web Browser" in the "applications", and that is the new webwrowser: can you see it?

I did check it before posting. Now pdf and djvu have the same key mapping configuration. The scrolling works in adobeviewer not pdfviewer.

Could anyone who owns a 602 confirm it works on your 602? If so, it must be my configuration. On 90* people don't need to zoom so they may not find the problem in zoom-in landscape mode

Before doing anything dramatic, I would first try and roll back to 2.0.6, see if all works, then try again. You might even "clean the state" to have a clean sweep (though you will lose e.g. your wifi conenctions) - before doing so, backup your configuration (though you should be prepared to kiss it goodbye just in case). Good luck!

Yes, it is a long press, though I had not realised at first - bear in mind that until skydive told me, I though it was not scrolling in landscape mode. The landscape mode automatically zooms as to fill the screen horizontally, so even with a large screen you have to scroll. As for key association, it looks like there is nothing associated to a long press of the joyistick. I still prefer Adobeviewer, though, as the page turning is faster, and there are more options for annotation. By the way, annotation looks slower with this second release, whereas I think Billi was writing that he found it had got quicker, so I am tempted to re-flash this second release version, just in case...

Thank you, Paola. I tried again. No. No matter what I do - I short-press or long-press the "down", it goes to the next page. If I short-press the right, it goes to next page too; long-press the right turns 10 pages forward. I tried to set the page buttons as scrolling up and down with either short press or long press. Neither way worked. I even tried to configure the FB2 key mapping because it has options for the joystick, hoping there was a bug. But even I set the long-press of down as "move down", in pdfviewer it goes to the next page.

BTW, in adobeview I only need to short press "down" to get the page scroll in zoom-in landscape mode. Do you need to long press to scroll pages?
