Can you be a little more specific? Could you use the device all day for browsing the web, reading, watching video, etc, without needing to recharge? How much does watching an hour of video drain the battery by, for instance?

Sony is really pushing the Tablet S as the gaming device for Android-the PS Store for Playstation-Certified Devices is open-but only for the Tablet S, for now.

That would certainly be an added perk. Two things it looks like it has over iPad2 are expandable memory and a full size USB port. I am looking for a Tablet that can do everything my laptop can. Still researching it, but it seems like this is the device that will do that. Plus I already have a large Sony Reader library.

Infrared port (and hence ability to use it as remote control) is an exclusive feature.

There's a specific Reader app for tablets. Today it only works on the Sony. Supposed to be available for all tablets in December according to Sony. You can also sideload with the tablet app.

My wife has an Acer 7" tablet and has downloaded a bunch of her Sony books to it, but I am not sure what she is using for a reader.
