TOC with filenames when exporting from ID55

Hi,

when I export a book from InDesign 5.5 to epub, the navigatinal TOC in iPad and iPhone just contains the names of the individual idd-files in the book - not the headers of these chapters.

Like this:

intro_text
1_chapter

Instead of:

Introduction
The big lie

Even stranger, when I open the toc.ncx file, this is what it looks like:

So when the correct names from the headings of each chapter really are inside the <text></text>, why on earth don't they show up in the Navigational TOC??

Have you checked your content.opf?

Well, the manifest part typically looks like this:

<item id="e-javla_01_titelsidor" href="e-javla_01_titelsidor.html" media-type="application/xhtml+xml"/> ...

and the spine part

<spine toc="ncx">
<itemref idref="e-javla_01_titelsidor"/> [etc]

- which didn't make me wiser, I must admit.

Anything wrong with the output from ID here?

My swedish is not wat is used to be

It looks fine though in ADE and Sigil. The structure is sound. However, validation gives a problem with the OTF files. You have to look around though, it might be an error in the validation tool. I remember something about errors reported for otf files.
