Send Mail via SMTP-Server without Auth?

Hi all,

I want to send the books to xxx@kindle.com. I have an SMTP-Server in my LAN that doesn't need and doesn't support SMTP-Auth. But Calibre (0.7.44 on Ubuntu) insists in User/PW. Then it complains about SMTP-Auth "not supported" and doesn't send mails.

Any idea how to tell Calibre that I definitely don't want to use SMTP-Auth?

Upgrade to a modern calibre release.
