I finally added all my unread books to my tablet and made some collections. Then I decided to add my read books as well, but when I returned to the bookshelf all my collections where gone! Strangely, the books I had put into collections are still in a collection (as they won't show up if I select "show books without collections" and if I "remake" a collection I, it's again filled the books I put in there...)

Yeah, I forgot about that problem with the NOOKcolor in many apps. I increased my DPI so it was no longer a problem for me when I had mine. Thank you.

Well my trial period is up. I like the way the epub section is developing, though still some way to go and still waiting on improvements in pdf rendering.

How long do I have to wait till I can test again?

How To Filter Based On Tags
How does one filter based on tags? Wasn't there a filter/funnel icon at the bottom of the home screen at one time? The only three icons at the bottom are Synchronize, Explorer, and Views now.

Edit: Sorry, figured it out. Just type in the specific tag in the search box at the top of the screen. Neat.

The funnel filter icon shows on my android phone but not on my nook color with the bigger screen. To filter via tags, I tap on the "collections" label on the top left corner, which gives me the option to filter by tags, authors, publishers, series etc. Then again, both my nook and android phone are gingerbread. Maybe the app is different on a honeycomb tablet?

PS: Thanks for the tip about changing the dpi. I used lcd density from the market to increase mine from 160 to 180 and Mantano actually looks better. The sorting panel no longer takes up half the screen space in portrait mode.

Screenshots
I took a couple of screenshots from my nookcolor to illustrate the difference in Mantano's Library that the LCD density makes. The reader is the same only I see more icons at the bottom of my screen in portrait mode without scrolling.

ETA: I haven't figured out how to take screenshots with my phone but I have 6 icons showing at the bottom of my phone and five on my nook color.

Thank you! This works on Honeycomb as well. I see the way the UI is setup now. If there's a little triangle next to something that means you can select it and get a popup menu.

An updated User Manual would be helpful. Perhaps they're working on it. I know it takes time to produce quality documentation.

I'm trying to do just the opposite but can't find an option to do it.

What I would like to do is open the current book every time I open up Mantano. Now if I open up within about 5 minutes or so, it does open up the current book. All other times (which is most of the time for me), it opens up the book listing. I then have to click the top book to continue reading.
