It works on my new Kindle. I deleted a personal document from my Kindle it immediately went to Archived items. I then went into the archive and re-downloaded it. This was a free ebook that I tested.

Forgot to mention the first time I did it I also received an email from Amazon telling me that the personal document I sent was now available on my amazon account to download anytime. They basically introduce the feature to you once you email yourself a document.

Could changing your account address to lets say New York City trigger a 3.3 firmware update since you're now living in a Local Deal area?

I just tried a library download on 3.1 and it worked just fine. I was hoping that would trigger the 3.3 update. I'm still waiting, too.

Yes, I had a Touch on pre-order that I could send to but could not send to my K3 (still back on 3.1 something). Fire is not on the list yet. Presumably that is a different code branch (based on K4Android) so the feature may show up later there.

I just manually installed the 3.3 update on my kindle and my mom's kindle (since there was no way she'd even know how to try and update hers, I'm just grateful she figured out how to read on it after I bought it for her last year, lol). Working good so far. Mine had been on 3.1 previously and my mom's was on 3.0.2. I did the manual updates at the same time and they were both finished at the same time. Easy peasy

Also installed manually the 3.3 update on my kindle keyboard wifi (B008), jailbroken and screen savers hacked, without uninstall jailbreak and uninstall ss hack. The update run smoothly, and screensavers hack still there. Previously have 3.2.1.

Want to update my wife's Kindle keyboard to 3.3 but do I need to uninstall the jailbreaks first? I have the screensaver installed along with the actual 3.1 jailbreak.

Yup, I can confirm as well that after I manually ran the update my screensavers hack is still intact. SOOO happy to see that.

This is not happening for me.....nothing of my "personal documents" is showing up in "Archived" on my physical kindle..............they are only showing up on the website?

Anyone?

If I'm in Canada will my update versions be different?

Mine K3 is version 3.2 right. I'm hoping by Christmas we'll also have the library rollout though I'm not holding my breath on that one
