You are asking the wrong person, because I will tell you to buy it

The Kindle you need for your Kindle books, the T1 will be for carrying in your purse, and the PRS-950 will be your backup/couch reader, or your PDF reader.

See how I can justify any purchase? Just ask my husband!

Sandisk makes magnificent mp3-players. I still love my Fuze, and my original Clip. Best gym player EVER.

SCION, it's another shade of red. No pink...no magenta... It could all depend on the lighting in the room. I use a fluorescent bulb (60 watt I think) to read. I haven't taken it out into direct sunlight yet. I could do that tomorrow. The red of the body does match my cell phone, which I am very happy about. Glad I bought the red one.

Well, I love pink and red! I so totally want the red one, but I'm worried about the glossiness. I'm not sure I'd want to skin a red one. So I'm waiting to see what kind of skins DecalGirl offers and might go for something with a red, black and white pattern and red cover. On the other hand, the black T1 that I already bought would make a good gift for a family member (with a birthday coming up) still using a 505. I can justify (I mean rationalize) anything!

I wish I read this statement before I bought my white one. The lighting in the store was shining off the bezel so badly. In fact,come to think about it, I was actually very disappointed when I saw the reader in store as the lights were glaring off the actual reading page and I had to be convinced to actually get it by my wife. Having bought it and used it at home, the glare was nowhere near as bad as it was in store. I assume that will be the same case as with the bezel ... would have preferred either the black or red ones!
Oh well ... now that I have my white one, although not my favourite colour (not that white is much of a colour :P), I love my T1!
Just waiting for Calibre to be updated now

Comes in a variety of colors. I notice that people are not giving it the stellar ratings the last two got. I still have my original. Still going strong after 2.5 years. No need for a new one.

I have a red PRS-T1.

The bezel colour is the same sort of red as my iPod shuffle - a deep cherry red, but on the pink side of red.

The metal strip above the buttons is most definitely a pinker colour. A sort of deep fuchsia, but most definitely a pinker colour than the bezel. The buttons also have pinkish tinge to them.

I prefer the matt back to the shiny front, but that seems to show up finger prints more than the front.

I have to admit I would have preferred the red to be more of a fire engine red.
