Onyx Boox M91s is a disaster

I got my Onxy Boox M91s today. The item arrived damaged around the bezel of the screen, there are literally hundreds of little dots and many varying in size scratches. There were also a few black scuff marks around the corner and on the back of the device. I powered on the device and adjusted some of the settings like the time zone, shortly after doing this the device became unresponsive, I used the reset button to reset the device. I tested out some pdfs and have experienced 2 further lock ups. If your looking for a good e reader do not buy this device.

http://www.ebookreaderdiscounter.com...boox-m91s.html I think the normal onxy store is owned by the same people: Ndigo Business B.V or just a reseller but the paypal payment went to Ndigo Business B.V This device would be good if it were more stable.

Is the latest firmware installed? It might help the crashing issues.

Looks like that is the latest one. I thought perhaps there were multiple builds like there are on the M90, but I only see one for the M91s.

Last suggestion. Under settings, choose Flash Internal Memory (or something like that). This helped mine tremendously. Last edited by pidgeon92; 10-11-2011 at 05:48 PM. |

I have formatted the Internal Memory but the problem still persists. I also re-flashed the latests update just in case.
