I don't think you need internet access at all time no. You just have to be logged into the App store app on your device at all times to use the apps. It might be a daily, hourly or some kind of cookie check. So you would probably need 3G or WiFi access only for a short time each day. I am guessing it might be daily or every few hours..something like that.

Even that is not a good thing. You pay for an app, then can't use it should you not be able to get online to check in after a certain period of time. Wonder how many folks know about this limitation?

Not many, unless you read tech blogs or experience the not logged in message like we did. Did I know about it first? No I sure didn't when I bought apps. I haven't bought very many just Apps2SD, EasyMoney and Mantano, Simple Dice plus all the Angry Birds games. I do have alot of free apps and I believe they too require the log in feature to use.

Then it's a good thing I can't access the Amazon app store. If I had had my Flyer during our summer holiday, it would have been useless for most of the time as I was over 2 weeks without internet.

This is mostly a bugfix release. We added sorting by series, which should sort by series and by series number. Some performance issues for PDF files have been fixed, and the fit now returns to the top of the page when you go to the next page

As for those waiting for Amazon... We have cancelled the version under review (which was still 1.5.0) to directly submit version 1.5.3. Not sure how long it'll take :/

Well, that's not a minor bug! That's a major feature! I can change my Calibre plugboard now to keep the title intact and not add the series + number to it

Although series appears as a sort option now, it does nothing when I select it. The tooltip at the bottom shows SERIE_NUM: 14.0 (for example) but the books' order doesn't change.

Fonts in PDFs are still not sharp/dense enough.

Thanks for the feedback. Do you know of any free series we could download to test this some more ?

Not offhand.

I suppose, for test purposes you could use any free books and manually tag them with series names and numbers.

This is probably something staight forward, but how do I add series information to my books in Mantano?

Thanks for the update, and I like the page number at the bottom. Any chance of using the same space and adding the chapter page too? This is more meaningful to me than total page #, and is the only thing keeping me from using Mantano as my full time reader.
