Hey how much is it with shipping to get a K4 in Canada I have a friend asking who lives up that way.

Interesting you ask since i've done this so many times in the past.

I paid total $133.59 to my door, however I've found that Amazon tends to inflate the duty or something, because everytime I've ordered a Kindle in the past I get a refund in a few weeks of like $15, so I *think* it'll be final price of about $118

Remember ours is the $109 version to start.

Okay Thanks! I was reading up on Customs fees. Someone in your neck of the woods wanted to buy my Pocket Pro but I just can't feel good about them paying the ridiculous shipping costs and custom fees so I suggested to them to buy a K4. I might have a US buyer as well just waiting to see if they buy it or not.

Oh yeah, much easier selling to someone you know, that's what I did with my Kindle keyboard. Let the person know Amazon gets it in your hands in under 48 hours even in Canada!

Okay Thanks I let them know. I think we may be swaying them when I told them Kobo Touch cases and some Sony 300 Cases will work not to buy the outrageous price Amazon cases.

Specially ones who don't know any better like me. I will apologize for my grammar. I'm not as educated as I like to be. (It's a long story) I'm also a little dyslexic under stress. My whole family suffers from it but I have it the least and my brother the worst.

I goggle Then vs than and basically it's just my brain needs to be retrain to use it right. Thanks for pointing it out to me.

I think our brains become trained a certain way and we read our posts back as we hear them in our heads. I myself am always trying to learn better as I did not attend school outside of elementary level due to a mother with mental illness. I am self taught mostly through the books I read or my husband who is college educated and loves to correct me all the time.

You could mark it as Gift on the custom pages... or just put a lower value on it. This probably isn't 100% legal though... but I thought second hand stuff wasn't supposed to have duties anyway.

Yea, but for cell phones, it's crazy considering they are so specific to the model you have most of the time.

Thanks that what they said to do but hubby said no because it's not a gift and he didn't want to be dishonest. I talk them into a K4 with Zeebra's help. Now they just got to get their better half to agree to it.
