I guess you could try contacting Mantano and asking for the old version. I don't know how responsive they are as of late.

Amazon still has the old version but I know you don't want to buy it again. I wouldn't.

Just got an email from Mantano saying they uploaded a versino a couple hours ago fixing what I might be talking about...so I'll try it

Well at least they are on ball fixing the problems this time. I hope by the time it makes it to the Amazon app store it will be pretty stable.

I have my old version backed up I don't know if the backup amazon apps work but I really like some of the new features in the update.

I prefer buying through Amazon because of the multi device use they allow.

I've tested the new Version 1.5.1.
After rebooting my device Mantano is much faster.
The speed at page turning is now pretty nice at pdf-files!

Please add an option to disable the ugly grey frame.

The nightmode looks very good in i like the new settings.

upgrade to v1.5.2, the big bug still exists(when turning to next page in fitting horizionally mode,you read from the middle of it,not the begining).

now mantano seems to focus its attention on big tablet(10 inch) running on android 3, v1.2.4 may be the last version suitable for small tablet such as 5 inch or smaller.

nevertheless, we have another choice now ,bluefire reader. although not so many library management function and also some other bugs, reading experience is much better than mantano.

hmm....I'll checkout Blue Fire too...I'm open to options...I just want a decent reader, I don't care about a ton of options...but I want the library to load fast and the page turns to be good.

Yeah I can't upload files from my SD Card into it...not sure why...so I'll stick with Mantano, the interface is pretty slick though, albeit very slow.

EDIT: Even dropped ePubs into the library folder, it just doesn't seem to detect them...not a good reader IMHO...I'll wait until they update things and check back in a few months

for pdf , you just tap the file,and then a menu will pop up ,ask you to choose the program to open it, just select bluefire reader, and the pdf file will be imported.
for epub files , put the file in sdcard/bluefire/imports/ dicrectory, bluefire reader will detect and import it.

Okay, I see how it does that...Gotta say, while the front end looks nice...it's no where near the level of Mantano right now..I'll hold off until development continues on it. But it looks promising!
