Hi from Chicago

Hello,
I'm a kind of new Pocket Edge user -- I wooted one for myself last spring and liked it so much I bought 3 more for the kids last month. Thanks to the wonderful people here I easily installed the 2.2 upgrade three times, but it won't take on Edge #4. I tried downloads from several sources (not sure if they're different) and also tried the slightly different instructions. I held the menu/rotate keys down at least twice as long as for the others. Is there any way I can get this update to work? I am lost in all the tech language here so simple but details please

Thanks for your warm welcome! I did post my question elsewhere -- these forums are new to me and I've been reading as much as I can. Anyway, good news!! I did a factory reset, downloaded the file again and renamed it without the .zip extension and I am updating as I write. Yippee!!
