I get mine through Japanese importer. But I think you'd do better ordering from THIS place! They sell everything needed to get authentic movie theater flavor (It's the 'Flavicol' salt, and palm oil!

Keep away from the new 'WhirlyPop' popcorn pot. It's half the thickness of the old model. But the new stainless steel version is fantastic!

Grilled, after shucking, so the kernels start to blacken. I aim for 20% to have turned at least a dark brown, and many bursting open, spraying the cook as they heat up. Then squeeze at least one wedge of lime all over it, and eat typewriter style, left to right.

Been eating this way for a couple years, it displaced the old method of shucking, slathering with butter, salt and pepper, wrapping in aluminum foil, and grilling until I heard a few pops through the foil. Which I may have to try again, just to refresh the memories.

Sounds just about right, though I usually go for about 50% dark brown... and slathered in butter!

I start at the left end and eat it in a spiral, with lots of butter and salt, or just plain if within a meal with other veges.

I also like creamed corn fritters.

I like it boiled or grilled, depends on the season and the use.

Last night, the corn was mixed up with black beans, onions, diced tomatos some lime juice salt and pepper and then layered into a casserole with tortilla chips, cheddar cheese and salsa.

Black Bean Chilaquile. So tasty.
