I apologise if my language offended anyone. Here in Oz some of us are more thick skinned about such things, and sometimes don't realise the sensitivities of others.

I would be offended by a personal attack, but not by language as such. So I had no idea that that someone would be offended.

Must be a really different culture... As a directed barb I could see it as a bit of a slur, but in its usage here, just a cute remark. Nothing offensive to my way of thinking.

Some folks call them the 'Faberge Eggs' of the BBQ world! I'm told that the way they are made, the exterior doesn't get very hot, but the inside can be set up for everything from cold smoking to incinerating! For what these things sell for, they should even be able to dance!

I am the griller in our family. Chris knows how....but after he tasted the first meal I grilled for him, he hasn't touched the grill since.
I don't mind - I crave grilled food a lot more often than he does.

There is a LOT of third-party software that you can use in place of iTunes. Do a google search and you'll come up with quite a few. Just read through them carefully, as some don't do EVERYTHING that iTunes does...

Sorry mate. But if you recall, everyone has copied Apple and its programs because of the innovative useful stuff. (mouse, GUI, microsoft's word and excel first real eased in GUI on Mac) So we need to work out why you get frustrated when so many don't.

I've been using itunes since it was released. I've used it for playing music, loading my iPods and more recently adding apps and books to the iPad. It works fine on my G5, MacMini, iPad and the works with the work PC at work with windows 7.

What exactly were you trying to do that took more time than you expected?

For example. I can upload a book to iBooks or BlueFire, Nook, kindle etc in about 20-30 seconds. Uploading a CD can take about 45 seconds to a minute or so per track.
