Good morning, all! Tuesday memories, stirred by this thread. So many hours spent with my first real girlfriend, at the beach but out of the sun... Nice memories.

East India Company's "Keemun Downy Bud" tea along side some fresh babbaganoush and Kalamata olives. I feel very Mediterranean...

Where is AceFlor these days? I haven't seen a recent post...

"Christmas in a cup" from the local coffee bar. Not really sure what it was, but was not that great. Not bad, drinkable for sure, but eh.. did not live up to its name.

This is my first attempt to make smoothie: jackfruit, apple, aloe vera yogurt and ice, resulted in 700ml of light yellow liquid. Guess I should decrease the quantity next time.

Following Stitchawl's tip, double standard this time. I.e., 2tsps a bit heaped and 5min steeping time instead of 2 or 3.
A bit later, I am going to try it again but in a mug which is 450ml/15oz instead of my cup (300ml/10oz).

I have not tasted the new brew yet, but it looks so solid that a spoon could stand in it on its own

No, it's just the seed. When boiled it's even edible. By "don't put jackfruit into blender" I meant its strong taste and smell would overpower other fruits.

Jackfruit is one of the only fruits that I don't like. It's a 'pretty' fruit once each pod is out of the main body but I even prefer Durian over Jackfruit. Give me good mangosteens anyday!

But as it's evening... I think Juniper berries will work... as long as they are properly distilled!
