The Kindle Touch WiFi only is $139 without ads (same as the NOOK). The Kindle Touch does audiobooks, the NOOK doesn't.

I think you underestimate BN. The Nook Color had to of cost near what they sold it for to manufacture it.

Like I said, the new Kindle looks cool, just not for me. The Nook has more of what I'm looking for. Perfect example, a lot of people consider pdf support a huge thing and that's cool. To me, pdf support means nothing. See? Just personal choice.

I don't listen to audiobooks on an e-reader, I use an mp3 player for that so it's a non-issue.

You're the one who said the NOOK is "far superior". You didn't say it meets your needs more so than the Kindle. I'm just not emotionally attached to stuff. Sorry.

And yet when asked, I did explain with the personal preference caveat. And no, you're not emotionally attached but it does seem odd how much you seemed to really enjoy them before, at least the Color. Just seems out of character for you from what I've read of your posts here.

I did enjoy the Color when I replaced the stock ROM. Any negative comments refer to the stock device (future device).

Even I'm confused in trying to respond to you. I've had negative things to say about the NOOK STR and NOOKcolor when I had the devices. In another thread, I made negative comments about the NC2 (new hardware, same content). You responded to that post. That's what I was referring to, but of course that didn't make sense in this thread. Sorry for the confusion. It's late, I'm getting lazy in communicating clearly.

Lol, ok got it. But yeah, I still don't get that last part, it just seems too much like saying "They might as well not even bother." I dunno, I can't make negative comments about something we literally no nothing about. You always struck me as the "wait and see" type. Eh, no worries, I've been gone for a while, things change.

Actually you would be quite surprised as I was with my PRS-650, which has a matt screen and thus finger marks are almost impossible to see. I keep trying to swipe my PRS-300 and Kobo 1 when turning pages now

I do want one! Bastard Apple and their phones That's good there's no fingerprints... I suppose if I could see one hands on first I'd consider it, but no where to do that in Aust currently.

That's what I'm waiting on... for Apple's announcements on the 4th. I'm hoping they come out with an Iphone 5 so I can look at getting an Iphone 4 a lot cheaper.
