![]() However it seems the new Touch 3G will have a downside that my K3 with 3G doesn't have. No 3G web browsing other then Amazon's store and Wikipedia. ![]() |

I can appreciate those who would still prefer the Kindle Touch to have bezel buttons. Would have been an easy addition, and they could have just allowed you to disable them in software if you preferred touch only. Seemed a little unthoughtful after conditioning their users to one approach. |

![]() Actually you would be quite surprised as I was with my PRS-650, which has a matt screen and thus finger marks are almost impossible to see. I keep trying to swipe my PRS-300 and Kobo 1 when turning pages now ![]() |

![]() I never see fingerprints on my PRS-350, either; the matte screen hides them quite well. I do see fingerprints on the my phone, tablets and computer screen, however. |

Holistically there is obviously also software improvement considerations and other things as trivial as the Kindle 3/Keyboard including and AC Adaptor where the Kindle (4) does not. |

Interesting devices! Pretty great price on the Fire as well. Well done by Amazon, though I think the Nook STR is far superior to the Kindle Touch I will still say it looks like a decent device.

If you don't mind my asking, why is the Nook STR so superior to the Kindle Touch? They seem pretty similar to me.

I was about to ask the same thing. I can understand a preference for physical page turn buttons, but what else makes it superior, besides the typical "it can read .epubs" response.
