So if you have Two S.O. Kindles does that mean you can do an offer twice or is it one per account?

I've tried surfing the web on my wifi KSO and it's a painful experience having to use the 5-way controller to select various links. As such, I've given up.

I would expect it to be much easier to use touch to select the links. In which case, I'd surf the web frequently and stay on for longer periods of time.

Now, if I were doing this on 3G, which one of the two scenarios would Amazon most likely embrace? Someone who rarely visits, which costs them little; or someone who is on all the time running up their bill?

It makes sense for Amazon to restrict 3G on touch Kindles.

I didn't include those; just the 11 current 6" and 7" devices.

For $300, someone could get a Kindle Touch and a Kindle Fire. Great Chistmas gift.

They recently changed the wording, starting with offer #50.

Before, it said: Limit one promotional code per device.
Now it says: Limit one promotional code per customer and per device.

Most confusing to say the least. I'm waiting to hear from anyone with multiple KSOs who is still able to get one offer per device.

Personally, I think it should be one offer per device. It's only fair.

I agree. I mean I'm having to look at the ads. I have a feeling it will change with them pushing the SO versions strongly because enough people will complain.

I hope he gets it by pass I think they will see a influx of calls after Christmas when every child, mom and dad gets one in the family and can't use it but once!

If that was my family after Christmas and they said one offer per account, my next response would be to ask for a refund because I'd return them. I'm sure the Nook and Kobo will be priced lower by then.

I'm pretty far from an Apple fanboy, but I think even I would recommend an iPad over this for any serious input. I know it's a jump in price, but even an iPad 1 refurbished with an Apple warranty is pretty cheap and likely a more functional device for your mother-in-laws needs. The larger screen affords you a larger virtual keyboard which is a little more forgiving plus there are plenty of docks/cases etc. with real keyboards if you wants to get one down the track. Unsure on the Fire's ability to use a real keyboard having no bluetooth. Plus the larger screen is generally just a little nicer for surfing the web regardless of similar resolutions - I say this having tried a Blackberry Playbook (similar screen to Fire) and a iPad.

Anyway just my thoughts. Either way if you are interested in the Amazon Fire there will be reviews etc due out soon enough which may help you decide.

Sorry for double post, but I'm curious what style of offers are there that are so attractive (not in US so havent seen)? I must say I'm not so consumption orientated that I tend to find most offers a waste of time for me personally, though I do know plenty for who adjust their buying habits around such.
