Device to Calibre?

I feel stupid but I can't figure this out or find it anywhere. I recently had a major computer crash and lost my hard drive. I have reinstalled Calibre and downloaded some new books. But I still have some books on my Reader that I don't have in my new Calibre. I can't seem to figure out how to transfer books from my device to my Calibre Library. Can anyone tell me how?

Reader should show up as a drive on your computer when you connect it... you can then just drag'n'drop them on calibre or onto your hard disk then put in calibre...

With your device connected go to the device view in calibre so you are looking at the books on your device. Select all, right click and select the option that will transfer them to your calibre library.

Thanks for the replies guys. I took the files and placed them on my Desktop, then transferred them into Calibre. All fixed!

I have the same problem when my computer crashed last week and I lost my Kindle library. I have a Kindle 3 and use the Calibre plugin to manage my Kindle collection. Is there a way of transferring the collection settings as well as the books from the Kindle to Calibre? I don't really want to have to redo the collections unless I absolutely have to...
