hi everyone. new to forum thing, but i thought i would let everybody that has a cruz ereader r101 that i was able to flv videos without rooting or anything else. downloaded vplayer advanced from 4share and it worked really well. no freezing.I used the one that is like 5.73 mb. The video setting for best conversion on cruz web site is way off. if you change the frame rate and a bunch of other stuff your videos are going to be messed up. I use Super (free) to convert all movies, converts anything. drag and drop vids into box and then double click and it should pull up every thing about vid. you may have to go to options and click enable file analyzing engine the first time,(pull up options by right clicking box). any way change video to flv or mp4 and keep frame rate and bitrate the same for vid and sample freq , channel, and bitrate the same for videos. (or as close to as you can) you can change the video scale and aspect. I think that it say it a 800x600 3:4 but that is going to be a large file. The player stretches video automatically so i make the vid 320x240 3:4 and it keeps the file small without pixallating it real bad. we know this thing does not like big files.
