LOL I just realized it would be a nightmare to enter my wifi password. It's 25 chars long and based on the qwerty layout.

I suspect entering a 25 character PW with the K3 would also be a pain, especially since the characters are replaced with a dot so it will be very easy to get confused as to where you were in the process. Oh well, you only need to enter it once per WiFi network.

Damm!

I thought mine was long, 15 characters, with symbols, numbers and letters. So complex that sometimes I forget it. But 25! ... wow ... lol ...

I just ordered mine!

*happy dance* It will be here later this week.

So now I have a K3+3G with Lighted Cover,accessories and ADH coverage to sell on Ebay. I'm off to do pricing research.

Why not wait and see how you like your K4? Also your K3 would probably make a nice gift for some one, unless the financial part is more of a must than a want.

I would try selling in the MR Flea Market first. EBay charges so much these days.

Jack? I don't remember if this has been mentioned, but do you use Calibre? If so, does the K4 work with it out-of-the-box?

25, that's nothing. Mine's 63. But as others point out you only need to enter it one time.

I don't transfer books via calibre but I did use a calibre plugin to modify the font/margins. Right out of the box calibre recognized the K4 and the plugin worked. I guess this was because the K4 is so similar to the K3 FW-wise.

Well, 65 is impractical, in my opinion

, unless is a non interactive account and no need to type it every time; I've seen those here at work.

But typing that every time, is not easy, especially if you're using a mobile device.

Okay I will do that thanks. I've already got my old reader up there and so far no takers. It been ages since I did the ebay thing but I figure a Kindle would sell better then my Pocket Pro on there but I would prefer to give folks here the chance over a bunch of strangers who might not appreciate it as much. It has serve me well this past 10 months.

I do plan to sell it once I get the K4. I don't need 3 Kindles.

I've already pre-ordered the Touch So I will use the money from the K3 to pay for that or the Fire. Besides no one to give it to that I love that much.

I am the only reader in my family. It was odd growing up that way. I was treated different because I had my nose stuck in a book all the time. As I grew older it changed suddenly I was the smart one.

Hubby says he doesn't want it either. He thinks I am nuts to want two but the NT will be used for travel and till the touch gets here. The Touch I will use for main reading but the NT for everything else...or it might change if I like it more I don't know.

Who knows I may take the NT in the bathroom

I am just so happy right now. I am bouncing off the walls.

Now I need a cover for it. There's a new sleeve on Amazon but it's $30! I don't want to pay that much.

I ordered a leather cover from Amazon for mine today. It isn't an Amazon cover but a 3rd party and it was in stock. See details and link in my earlier post. I didn't want to wait until mid-November for the Amazon covers to be released, and who knows how long before M-Edge and others release theirs.

I had mixed reactions growing up. My family is pro-reading but they didn't quite get my borrowing 6 to 12 books from the library at one time when I was younger. That number did dwindle as I got older.
Now, on my hubby's side of the family, I read the least by their standards. They carry a book (or books) or e-reader with them wherever they go, unless it is physically impossible to do so...

Although, my husband and I have both been seen carrying a paper book & our Kindles at the same time, our home library is nowhere as extensive as the rest of his family's.

I am soooo excited to get home and get mine-it should be waiting on the front stoop.

I wasn't aware you could do collections on Calibre - I will have to investigate that. On my K3, I just downloading books collection by collection.

I hope it will feel okay naked. I had a sleeve for my K3, and I ordered one for my K4, which should also be waiting for me when I get home. Thanks for everyone who posted!
