Once it was explained it made total sense but I needed it explained.
My composter arrived a few minutes ago. The Hubby went with a totally different model then I had planned on but that is fine. We have a container that we have been keeping veggie scraps in that is full and a ton of cardboard to rip up and paper to shred. Lets get this party started. Yes, I am a dork. I asked for a composter for my birthday. He got me some great tennis shirts, in purple, and tennis shorts. And a bread maker. And Quantum of Solace. And a purple dog collar for Caya. (giggles) Off to watch Bond. |

I'm afraid most Americans have never heard of Proudhon, and worse yet would find the idea anathema. Property as a "natural right" is much more popular here, much to the detriment of the have-nots.

Back from an amazing dinner. Salad, steak, mashed potatoes, sauteed mushrooms, and chocolate mousse washed down with two good beers.

Pdurrant, thanks for the explanation!
What I would give to be able to go out and get a good sandwich! A N.Y. Deli style rare roast beef with brown mustard on slabs of heavy peasant bread... Meat piled 3/4" thick, with lettuce and tomatoes... Mmmmmmmm! Or pastrami on rye.... even a foot-long Italian sub (hero, hoagie, wedgie, po'boy,) ANYTHING! Anything other than two pieces of thin white bread (with the crusts removed) one thin slice of cheese, one thin slice of ham, one thin slice of tomato... and thin flavor from each! I'm making myself hungry... I think I'll hit the sushi counter today. Stitchawl |

OH! I missed the day itself! I think I got it a day or two before, but that doesn't count. Happy belated birthday!
In your honor, I'll drink a cup of East India Company's Assam tea! Stitchawl |

Coke Zero #1 in my cup, on an unseasonably warm last day of September.
And following the 'success' of my last joke, here's the same joke in a different form, just for Mobileread. Why are DRMed ebooks like Herbal infusions? Spoiler:

In English they are called puns (the origin of the word 'pun' is obscure), and often elicit a groan from the audience, rather than a laugh. I like the Jonathan Swift quotation, that punning is "... a talent which no man affects to despise but he that is without it." Although I confess I have been unable to track down where he said it.
