I don't get all this negativity.
How many actually read Part I before posting?
Ok, it's bad spelking and grammmaer, but. Well.
i dunno, he sound just like a normal Joe, who's decided to have a go, and made a cock up.
Story line is ok though, his feedback is not totally terrible, and he's well up the sales lists of some sensible categories.
His blog is light-hearted and amusing also
Are Mobileread people really that aloof?
It's not like he's a child molester or a mugger of old women, he made mistakes and admitted it.
Ok, not really my cup of tea but are these types of comments really necessary?

"That blogger is an attention whore"
"This ignorant outburst"
"Sounds like another adolescent of the internet"

LOL, infact a lot of what he says seems more tongue in cheek and a lot of aloof people seemed to have missed the funny side of it.

Sorry, but... well sorry for what a lot of what MR is becoming if this is really that important for a 13 page rant.

Oh, I've had a post on the end of here questioning my name. I replied and both have been deleted.
Why is that?

EDIT : Oh, I get it, someone thinks I'm the author.
Well anyone that want to prove I'm me, PM me for my Facebook page and friend me, even for 1/2 an hour. I think there is enough proof I'm me and not him ;-)

Sent him the list of typos last week, not heard anything yet. It's not too bad a story, though he could do with an editor or someone to work on some of his sentence structure.

Correct. The arabic for 'listener' or 'hearer' is "saame3." The word for reader or reciter is Qaari. The first word of the Qur'an to be revealed was the command "Iqra'" which can be interpreted as either "Read!" or "Recite!," with some scholars taking each opinion (or both, recognizing that the Quranic text has multiple levels of meaning).

Since the blogger in question copped to being the first and admitted to using the second in order to draw more traffic to his blog (right here on MR), then yes. I consider all reactions to his self-proclaimed "experiment" to be valid and necessary. How can it be wrong to give someone exactly what they're admittedly asking for?

And since those two comments were mine and the blogger thought they were "very astute of me"... then I'm just not sure why anyone would feel he needs defending. He tried to elicit that kind of response from people (admittedly) and he got that kind of response from people. Mission accomplished.

Well, that's all well and good Diap, but you know it's not polite to call someone names unless they're a criminal.

Even when they want me to call them names for attention?

It's an awfully timely bump this thread got, as well. I conclude the "bump" is part of the "experiment." My mind will not be changed on this.

Dear Mr. P,
Sadly this list did not reach my inbox. I would very much appreciate it if you could resend the email to ml.stewart@yahoo.co.uk.

May I also thank you for taking the time to do this.

Best regards,
ML Stewart

I used the email address in the back of the book, so if that's another typo you're on your own with that one
