Same for me. I can't say that I'm impressed with Win7, but Vista is just bad compared to XP.

Well, putting Vista and its previous problems aside and after 2 years using Ubuntu, I would never go back and use a Windows Os at home, never, ever!

The fragmentation issue (because the way filesystem works), speed, security and even price tag, I just decided to break the chains and say "NO MORE".

I'm not a PC gamer, and found I can do everything I need (and wife as well) using Ubuntu Linux. Without paying a penny or using antivirus software and without worrying about fragmentation issues, even after 2 years of continue usage.

I'm also a new Mac user and I've find OS X very stable and fast when comparing to other Windows Os. I'm using Lion on my MacBook air and Snow Leopard on my Mac Mini, and no problems at all.

Now, can't speak about Win 8. Actually, I will check if it is available for us internally, however, it looks like hardware requirements are very strict and high. But I've read MS really optimized the Os a lot, however I'm those kind of guys that need to see to believe ...
