Battery Discharging

My PE keeps saying Battery Discharging... I turned it off and plugged it in to charge for over 24 hrs and it is still saying discharging.... red batter with line through it.... is there a fix or is it screwed?

First, make sure you have the charger plugged into the charging hole and not the headphone jack. -- Don't laugh! -- I've had mine for 8 months and made this mistake just yesterday!

Do you mean it says discharging even when it is plugged in? If yes, weird and hopefully something isn't wrong with the hardware inside. If you are seeing it listing "discharging" when inside android but without the charger plugged in then don't worry. That is what it is supposed to say and it just means that the device is currently running off of battery power.

If it is saying that and the battery is red then either there is a big problem - especially because of the length of time on charge, or as Filark says it was not charged at all.

solved it.... i left it on to charge for like 24 hrs and didnt use it while charging then when i turned it back on it was fully charged.....

yes it took that long and i had it turned off not hibernate....
