hairybiker,

according to Shura1oplot (check out his clone on the project-page) build scripts now are working under Linux too.

I usually select my next 3 books I plan on reading, set them with the tool, then change them after all 3 are read whenever I next have the reader connected to the PC. It works great.

And in case my small request was missed a few pages back, would it be possible when you save screenshots, if there's any way to have them saved into a "screenshots" directory rather than lumped into the root directory mixed with other files? Just makes it all cleaner/neater when moving them off the reader to your PC.

I know about that tool. Very nice, but it requires that I know ahead of time what I want.

I like teh idea that PRS+ allows me to switch which way I want things to display.

But having it only display based on one collection, that it "finds first" doesn't help that much.

That is, I just pushed a new revision that makes the 'cycle booklist' action also cycle through all collections that a book is in, instead of just the first one it finds. Hope you enjoy

shuraoplot's mkcramfs executable failed for 300 model on my linux box. (ubuntu 10.?)
I'll push updated (unix compatible) build script in a few mins to the main repository.

PS
Meh, symbolic links are bugged. Will take longer.

I can't test it right now. Two questions:

- Does it remember the last selected collection upon restart?

- Is the name of the currently selected collection shown on the home screen?

- Yes, it does.
- No, but maybe I'll add this. Looks kind of messy for long collection names though.

I'm looking forward to test it.

In many cases books of the same series have the same (genre-)tag. When calibre creates collections for series and tags many books are in the same two (or more) collections. So it would be a good feedback for the user to see the collection name currently selected.

I don't think collection names are often very long. And if they are so long, you have the same problem in the list of collections. Perhaps we could show the name only (without any "Next books in") to save some space.

Because of the way I have my sort setup my books will almost always show in order in the book thumbnails when showing the next in the collection, regardless of what collection is showing. The downside is if the series has multiple authors, in these cases toggling to the correct collection may help out.

New revision pushed, current collection is now displayed in the home menu. I changed the text 'Next books in collection' to 'Next in' if there is a current collection.

Sorry if I am posting in the wrong place... but do you guys know what cpu/processor is Sony PRS-T1 and Kindle Touch (SO) using?

Both seems to be Freescale / ARM family based. (Kindle Keyboard is documented on the matrix as i.MX35.) But because both are so new, I couldn't find anything on the web.

Just thought you guys might know.

Thank you so much in advance.

You know it is the wrong place. Next time you should start a new thread and not post off topic in an existing thread.
